The Armenian-Czech business relations have great potential for development

From July 1-3 the delegation led by RA Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan visited Czech Republic.

 

During the visit, the delegation of Armenian businessmen led by Arsen Ghazaryan, the President of the RA Union of Manufacturers and Businessmen took part in business forum which was held in Prague in June 2. More than 50 businessmen from Armenia took part in it, including the representatives working in the field of shipping, construction, information technologies, recycling, light industry, free economic zones, manufacturers of chocolate, dried fruits, brandy, jewelry and other companies.

 

At the same time, the business community of Czech Republic represented about 100 businessmen at the conference.

 

The Prime Ministers of RA and Czech Republic, RA Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry Ministers of Czech Republic, as well as UMBA president Arsen Ghazaryan and the president of the union of manufacturers of Czech Republic Jaroslav Ganak spoke at the opening ceremony.

 

Meridian Jewelry Free Zone representatives took part in Armenian-Czech business forum. Nika Manukova, the Project Director of FEZ represented the opportunities and benefits of Free Economic Zones of Armenia, particularly the infrastructures of jewelry FEZ.

 

The bilateral meetings between businessmen followed the conference, during which a number of cooperation agreements were signed.
